Wiscaskat a.k.a. Wiscky
My first pet portrait was created from this photograph of Wiscky in a rare quiet "kitten" moment.
Since he was born near Wiscasset, Maine, he earned the name Wiscaskat, better known as Wiscky. He prefers running laps around our apartment over sitting in a lap.
Success with this pet portrait inspired me to create many others. In each one, I try to capture the pet's distinctive personality, which has helped develop my own artistic style.
